This course will focus on the prescribed learning outcomes for grade 5 in Social Studies under the sections on resources and settlement. In this unit students will learn about Myths and Legends and how stories are told. They will then use the online story board and animation tool to write and animate a legend of their own.

It is expected that students will collect first and second-hand data, assess and validate the data-collection process, and graph the data.
Students will:
- select an appropriate sample or population and organize the collection of data
- manipulate data to create an interval graph/table for display purposes
- construct a bar graph and a pictograph using many-to-one correspondence and justify the choice of intervals and correspondence used
- evaluate the process by which the data was collected

This unit cover the learning outcomes for data in the grade 6 IRP for Math, specifically It is expected that students will develop and implement a plan for the collection, display, and analysis of data gathered from appropriate samples.
Students need to demonstrate they can:- read and interpret graphs that are provided
- describe the general distribution of data:
- smallest and largest value
- frequency (which occurs most often/least often)
- value in the middle
- patterns
- analyse sets of data to make comparisons and test predictions
Traditional photography course taught using digital cameras and photo editing software such as GIMP or Photoshop. You will learn the basics behind taking great photos and using your camera to its full potential.
